Auto Climate Control 101
I've got 1 2012 F-150 Lariat, 5.0, with approx 47K miles. I've owned it about 3 months. I've got dual zone temp control ***** for driver and passenger.
Every once in awhile, the Auto Climate control indicator will be lit up, but I dont ever remember turning it ON. I cant re-create the exact conditions where this happens ............... but when it does, I cant just press 'Auto' to disable it ......... seems like I need to turn off the AC and mess with the button to select the output location of windshield/dash/feet.
I've looked in the owners manual - not much there, unless I've missed something.
Is this normal ? User error ?

Mine would change the temperature settings randomly or have new settings when I started the truck. The dealer replaced a module and that cleared it up, just don't remember which module it was.
