If an EGR Cooler has Ruptured can it still be used for a Stealth EGR Delete.

If you weld both ends water tight it shouldn't give you any trouble. It will be a source of air in the coolant system until it fills completely with coolant through the leaking area but once it's full of stagnant coolant your coolant level will quit dropping.

Yes, but don't do it. The egr chamber just becomes a big coolant pipe. But just imagine how much soot that clean coolant will have floating in it in about a month of your coolant running through your ild exhaust system. Then in 3 months that soot will clog your oil cooler. When you change the oil cooler, install a coolant filter to clean all the soot or of the coolant.

Been there. Got the t shirt. Took a year running with the coolant filter to clean up my coolant system. Pulled the egr coolant pipe off this fall ( after a year) and installed a real egr delete when I put the second oil cooler on. I thought the coolant system was clean, but my oil cooler told me different.
