So I just bought a new 2014 F150 XLT with leather and 20" wheels. It came with michelins on it. I was underneath the truck lokking around and noticed it has an 18" goodyear spare! Is that normal?

Has been normal for decades.
BTW ... The wheel is the same size (or within a ½") diameter-wise. While a full-size tire, it is meant to be used only until the on-the-ground tire is repaired/replaced. It does not have a TPMS sensor.
Reference the owner's manual .... all is explained there.
(owner's manual) Don't have one -OR- would like a digital, searchable desktop document?
I'll have to investigate mine further. What I do know is the spare is exactly the same size as the tires that are on the ground, and the placard calls for exactly the same PSI air pressure as the rear tires that are on the ground, 60 psi.
