Body torque

What is the torque for cab to frame mount bolts for a 1966 F250.

Don't know the Ford spec, but a 7/16-20 grade 5 plated bolt should be about 50-55 ft. lb. That said the bolts I got in my kit from LMC have no marking on the heads which would make them a low carbon bolt. The torque on a low carbon bolt is only 35 ft. lb. I plan on swapping them for grade 5 bolts. I did notice something unusual on my project truck and both parts trucks I have, the nuts are missing on all three trucks on the rear cab mounts. So use a good quality self locking nut. My experience from working on aircraft is that torque is a moving target you can get as much as 25% difference between two mechanics using the same tools. That's probably too much useless information huh.
