Adding rear lights on a 2015

I am thinking about adding rear lights on my 250 truck. It would be the three light setup like on the duallys. Has anyone done this and would I have any issues tapping into the wires? I did this on my 01 but tecnology has changed since then and dont want to screw up anything. Thanks

Yes, many have done this and there are a variety of light strips available, including LEDs. I just screwed mine in with self-tapping bolts and connected to one of the tailight/license plate wires.

I think this was the first thing I did to my truck after I got it. I used this LED bar and spliced it into the tail light wire going to the trailer connector.

Make sure to use the type of wire connectors with heat shrink seals on them, or solder the wires together and seal them with heat shrink tubing. If you just use those quick splice connectors, you will have problems down the road.
