I'm getting ready to do the timing set on my 03 Expo. I can't find much info on the cam timing marks. Is there a dot? If so, do they both get set to the two shiny links like the 3v? The few write ups I found call for the crank keyway at the 12 o'clock position where as the 3v called for 11.
I know this motor has the issue with stripping plugs out. What has everyone determined for a torque spec?
Any info is appreciated.
Going to do intake gaskets, v-cover, plugs, boots, t-set w/all associated seals, p/s flush, t-stat and coolant, fuel filter, brake flush, and of course an oil change.
Gotta keep mamas truck running, and more importantly, the boat tow rig.
5.4 2V Triton crankshaft positions explained and verified.
