Think I blew A plug.

Whats involved and can I fix it myself. 2000 F-150 4x4 5.4 engine. Thanx

there are specific "KITS" make for the 5.4 FORD motor for repairs. Don't go generic with a thread insert.

read the bottom post about the kits........ which cylinder ? front are much easier than the rear.

#2. Looks like it shattered the plastic on the coil.Guess the fuel rail stopped it from blowing all the way out.

Guess it was bound to happen sooner or later. I'm lucky compared to most. My truck has 252000 miles on it. Bought it brand new.
