Hey Wally. Knee is doing well, I'm off the crutches and cane. I can walk pretty well, gets pretty stiff in the evening, though. Still taking it easy this week.
Craig, I'm putting a vintage air system in my 67 also.
Good Mornin gang!
Craig I agree with John, give vintage air a call, nice people to deal with. What engine is in your Galaxie?
Pat good to hear from you, how is the Knee?
Good afternoon Everyone.
I have a 400 CI engine in it, with a wore out R12 factory air unit. The compressor is shot, clutch is good. I will buy a compressor, filter/drier, oil, & o-ring & R134A I'll be set. I hold an EPA Type I & II Certification also ASE Certification for Auto Air.
I have dealt with Arizona Mobile Air before a few times & for what I need O-rings, Compressor, & filter/drier they appear to have what I will need. Compressor $220, filter/drier $20. Their prices are hard to beat plus shipping isn't bad coming from Phoenix to Central Nevada. I bought a compressor for my 86 F250 4x4 & had it shipped to Fallon cheaper than I could buy it from Autozone or anywhere else in Fallon or Reno. It worked great for years.
Pat good to hear from you also. Hope your doing good.
Went to DMV this morning to register our CV in Nevada. The only wait was for them to find a treat for my Service Dog. We have a great DMV here in Hawthorne, friendly, & helpful. I always leave thanking them for another great DMV experience.
Morning Wally, thanks! I'm hoping I can get out to the garage this weekend. I need to start putting on seam sealer inside the cab, so I can shoot undercoat, hopefully, next week.
I hope you have a better day than me. Yesterday I came home from work sick with a eye migraine, chills & nausea. Even the thought of food churned my stomach. I spent all day in bed and I'll probably be in bed all day again today except to go to the store for more Theraflu. Blah...I hate being sick.
