Anyone interested in my truck? I'm most likely upgrading.

What are the specifics and how much do you want for it?

01 crew cab short bed 7.3

Minor upgrades but nothing major. 6.0 inner cooler and trans cooler. John Woods valve body. Tuned by gear head. Rhino lined. Western plow hook up, but I'm keeping the plow itself. 118k miles, just got back from a successful trip to RRE. New Cooper AT/3's a couple of weeks ago. Bottom of the doors and sills started showing their age a year or so ago. Just got back from Tasco Ford who had a matching color 02 extended cab long bed for 19k. FTE price is 10k which matches the low side of KBB trade in value. They show 12k as the private party value but I'm not going to deal with CraigsList or anything. This price might also change if they make me a better trade in offer later in the week.

10k is super cheap for that truck. Hopefully someone snatches it up.

The worst of it is on the inside bottom of the front passengers door. The rest of it is bubbling pretty good in some spots. I can PM you some pics tonight if you want, just let me know.

I would be very interested, but unfortunately it's just not good timing. Hope it goes to a great home.

Has it been up north its whole life? Are there a couple of spots, or is rust going to be a serious problem in the near future?

Yes, I am the second owner and I picked it up from a dealer north of Boston. At the moment the rust is bothersome to me, but like any rust it will eventually become gaping holes. Nothing structural obviously, just cab related at this point. I'm pretty sure we can thank the new liquid stuff they drop on the roads these winters.

Yeah, same setup, crew cab short bed although they seem to have changed the name from short bed to standard bed. Gonna treat myself nice this time and get all the bells and whistles

Very tempting Greg, but unfortunately this isn't the best time for me. My wife has been in school for the last year and a half, so coming up with that kind of money is tough with upcoming move to Minnesota. Really wish the timing was better though, that's a great deal!

That does appear to be an installed option in the ones I'm looking at. I've had the pleasure of sitting in one of those compliments of Ray and it was certainly a unique experience.
