I GOT WITH THE PARTS GUY AND HE GAVE ME A PART NUMBER.... 1831646C1 SHOW WE HAVE FOUR DOWN THE ROAD I WILL OBTAIN A NEW GLOW PLUG RELAY AND INSTALL AND GO FROM THERE. 7.3 IS AN INTERNATIONAL AND I SHOULD BE ABLE TO OBTAIN MOST PARTS NEED FOR THIS ENGINE THREW OUR PARTS DEPARTMENT I THINK I CAN EVEN GET A SERVICE MANUAL FOR THE ENGINE BUT WILL HAVE TO LOOK INTO THE BUS MANIFACTURE TO SEE IT I CAN OBTAIN A DIAGRAM OF THE ELECTRICL THAT THEY INSTALLED. WILL UP DATE AS I PROGESS. THANKS SO MUCH.

 

Gpr 7 is the relay only advance oreilly Napa and auto zone all carry it

 

The WP and Stancor relays are superior to what you'll find at your IH dealer or at the FLAPS.

okay gentlemen. I installed a new glow plug relay! and had recently replaced o-ring and hose on driver side return fuel line was having trouble starting engine went ahead and replaced passenger side return fuel hose and O-rings while I was at it I replaced the hose at the back side and replaced it with a new hose and proceed to replace the return line and installed new seals and removed the fitting that connect to the pump and fuel filter return line and installed new o-ring bleed the air out of the system I thought got the vehicle started and one by one open each injector until fuel came out. took the vehicle for a spin invited the wife and my younger son we invited my mother in law and the strangest thing happen I open the door to let my mother in law in and the horn goes off and stays on I try to hit the button to see if it would turn off but nope my says to close the doors, that my be its an alarm I said no it doesn't have an alarm the tire are pretty toasted up the treads are new but are dry rotted so test run was late in the evening about eight pm Texas heat... would be bad on the tire so about an hour before I started the vehicle I took it for a short ride and it had been running total of a couple hours trying to charge the batteries. while the horn is blaring its dark and I cant find the horn to disconnect the wires I turn off the bus and find the flash light disconnected the wires and try to start the bus it wont start .cranked until batteries just about gave out I left at my mother in laws headed to pick up this morning. not sure what I didn't do but was having that same issue before I replaced the glow plug relay once it warmed up no start. I figured everything is replaced that it would okay not sure what I missed. any suggestion?

 

Sounds like the ip is getting heat soaked time for a new ip

 

How did you determine that there is not a security system in play here? Horn on door opening and crank-no-start are hallmarks of an aftermarket security system.
