Hi guys. Im trying to replace my inner axle seals on my front diff. I've already pulled both the axle on both sides, and I've removed the differential cover as well as the two brackets that hold the carrier (I think that is what it is called). I know I have to get that carrier out in order to knock the seals out, but I can't get it to move. Am I forgetting something? This is the first time I've done any of this, so I'm learning as I go.

It has been EONS since I was in a front axle (like 10 - 15 years). I want to say the only thing that holds it in at this point is the Pinion Bearing.
Post back your vin I will look it up tomorrow when I get some free time.
It sounds like you have everything removed. When I did mine about a month ago it required a lot of prying to get it out. Just pry out a small amount at a time and it will eventually come. I forget how we got mine started but it was a pain.
Once you do get it out though, put it on ice, or in the freezer or whatever you can do to get it cold, otherwise you'll never get it back in.
What Baatzy said. Just pry it out. Keep the bearing cups on the correct side so they go back in where they were. Wrap the carrier in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer while you do all the other work. That will make installing it much easier.
