Steering Box

I am rebuilding my original steering box but I can't get the upper worm bearing race out of the housing, how did you guys you guys do it ?

I cut through it with a dremel tool, then collapsed it with a punch and it fell right out.

upper race

I think I will let it soak in ATF/LT for a week or so & see if I can find a tool that let me pound on the top of the race ( heat & bend a long 1/4 " punch) if that don't work I will try your way. THANKS for the help
