Steering box
There is this nut with a slot in it on my treering box i can turn it a little what does it do. Should i be messing with this or not?

Are you having problems w/ too much play in your steering? If not I would not change anything. Pick up a manual for your truck it can answer many of your questions and will give you an idea whether or not you would be able to do a particular repair or possibly need a special tool.
