transmission question
Try to locate a "wide ratio" top loader that came in a small block Fairlane, Mustang,Torino or Cougar. You will need a longer speedometer cable and the plastic gear used with the cars mentioned. Check with David Kee Top Loaders, he can provide you with all you need. The other choice is a T45 conversion that will give you an overdrive. None of this is cheap but will wake up what you have. Also will need a drive shaft change.
