Anyone have insight into a condition where the rear entertainment system on my 2007 Eddie Bauer Expedition where the DVD doesn't work, continually blinks (that can be heard through the speakers (when the stereo's on that setting)) as a repeated "pop" sound. Also the batter dies after a couple days of this. Battery showed "good" when checked and I recharged it reinserted it and it died couple days later. Replaced the battery with new and couple days later it died. Disconnected DVD player completely and it eliminated the battery problem. Tried re-plugging in DVD player several times but same condition happens. Trying to figure out if there's a way to fix the DVD system.

Anyone have thoughts?
