Question on 460 Head Swap
Hi,
I have a 70's era smogger 460 motor that has D2VE-AA heads on it. This is a low compression motor with retarded cam etc. I have a pair of heads from a 429 that are C8VE-E that I would like to use instead. Will the 429 heads be a good replacement? I am concerned about what sort of compression ratio this swap will create. Thanks.

Lots else to consider, but on heads alone, I think this will give you some numbers to work with to determine your CR.
