Starter/ Ignition

I'm sure this info is easy to find, but I can't seem to find a specific diagram for what I want. I'm looking for some kind of diagram or even a drawing showing all the wires going to the starter, distributor and ignition. Any and all help will be appreciated, thankyou.

Welcome to FTE!

It would really be helpful if we knew what year truck and what engine you have.

It's a 1948 F--1 with a sbc 350.... starter and ignition are usually the same for most applications I would assume. .....

Google is your friend. The starting circuit for a SBC is different than for a 48 F-1. The stock ignition switch and starter switch could be used or a more modern switch could be used. Since your other thread is asking about columns, that potentially has a switch in the column, you have to decide that first. Same for the ignition, depends whether you have electronic or point ignition and which kind of switch you use. But from a google image search you can find examples of both and adapt to fit whatever you end up with.

Yeah I've Google it,but getting a lot of different pictures. I'm using a universal ignition switch right now with a HEI distributor. I tried to crank it up last night, but had battery and fuel pump issues,I'm gonna try again today.
