please need help on starter issue ???
hey guys i have a 76 f250 with a 360 and 4 speed. i kept going through starters, so i finaly bought a mini starter ( heat soak problems ) and i have a 184 tooth flywheel. ford said i should have a 164 fly wheel on the 360 and 4 speed.....
i ate the flywheel ring up bad... i need a new fly wheel. should i get a 164 or 184?
my starter is a 9606 powermaster meant for a 184t fhylwheel..... so does that stock mean the stock starter goes with a 164 tooth?
also the stock starter has 9 tooth, and the power master has 11....whats the big deal there?
