I have a 2015 SD PSD RCLB XL truck with a Western Ultramount MVP plow on it. The stock tires being 245/75/17 look a little goofy and small on it.
Can you guys tell me what size I could go to, just slightly bumping up the size and not rub at all? I will not be doing any leveling kits or anything of that sort, just looking for a tire that will fit and work/look better.
285/70R17s looks fine. I wouldn't go up into the 305mm+ range on stock 7.5" wide rims. Rubbing won't be a concern if you stay under approximately 34x11, that's roughly the largest stock tire. You can put larger tires in, but under that size on stock wheels, no rubbing should be almost a guarantee.
I swapped those same tires/rims out for the set listed in my signature. No issues. Check out ebay for some stock take-off tire/rims. Plenty for sale if you want some nicer stock rims too.
