Not sure what the tongue weight is on your trailer? I have the Equalizer hitch with the 1000lb bars and my trailer is 6500lbs dry. When loaded my trailer is about 8000lbs and my tongue weight is around 940lbs. I'm thinking you might be better off with the 1200lb bars???
I would buy it if it is a good $$$. Worse case the spring bars need to be upgraded but all the other stuff would still be used. I have a 30' camper 850# tongue weight empty and I use the 1000# bars.
Thanks for input. I passed on the 1000lbs and am getting the 1200/12000 setup.
Looked up my trailer specs and didnt want to be borderline.
Usually carry wood and bikes in bed plus campertop.
Never have hit the scales but need to.
Thanks RV. Got the Equalizer installed today. My very short test drive impressed me. TT seemed to more much more solid.
Gotta do a interstate run before Sale the eaz lift.
I have the 1000lb model i used with my old rv. I now use it on my 9k lb rv with a 1250lb tongue weight. I pull with a F350 diesel and it does fine. The equalizer is a great hitch
FYI We pulled to Gulf State park today. Very pleased with how equalizer performed. Way better ride than traditional friction sway control.
I am gonna dial it in alittle more with trailer nose height.
