I am currently trying to decide between two amps. It will be used to power my front two compontents and one 12" 150w rms sub -

1. JBL 80.4 or
2. Rockford Fosgate 301x

Are those the only choices?

For what I would imagine is an equivalent amount of money, you could probably get a 3-channel PPI (might have to go slightly used) that would be better suited to driving a sub...just my $0.02.

 

I agree with Optikal, the JBL should be fine to power that.

 

The RF is a better amp tho the JBL might be ok for this setup, I would still take the RF if those where my only choices.
