Stake beds

Did all f5's come with a stake bed, we're any built with a box like the f-1, f-2? I have a nice stake bed for my f-5, but it's not an original. I also have a fixable box and fenders from an f2. But I also want it to be as correct as it can be, when I'm finished with the project. Any suggestions?

The F-4/5/6s were either flat bed, stake bed, cab/chassis, or chassis/cowl/windshield like would be fitted with school bus or other special body. The shortest bed on these models was 134" vs 122" for the F-2/3s. Therefore, the Express beds used on F-2/3s won't fit an F-4/5/6 without lengthening the bed, or shortening the frame. Some have made custom long beds or used the 9' bed that was optional on '53 and later SRW F-350s. Stu
