I personally preffer Hedman hedders. they are 18gage steel, nice and rugged. and will only cost you about 200$ or less. then if you want the perdy ceramic hedders, they have those also.
I have Headman but don't drive my truck that much. They seem to be o.k. If you want the best I suggest Doug Thorley. If you drive your truck alot you won't be blowing gaskets all the time, plus their coated...no rust.
i have hedmans on my 76 and they were a witch to put in.....not much in power gain plus they warped but thats cause the original blew cause i burnt valves (open headers)
by the way i sanded mine down and painted them with 1500* paint....but they paint bubbled and cracked so they might rust after all so get the coated ones
headman doesn't coat theirs on the inside...something to think about

What ever you decide spend the extra money and have them Jet Hot coated. Some companies will sell the headers already done. If they are already coated make sure it’s inside and out (or they will rust from the inside), if not send your new pipes to Jet Hot and they will turn them around within the week. It’s worth the extra money anyway you look at it. I have run every type and combination of headers you can dream up and this coating in the only one that has proven itself over time. Expect your headers to last four to five times longer with less warping, heat build up and never rusting (guaranteed from Jet Hot). My 94 F-150 with 347 has headers on it that still look new after 5 years and my old Maverick Grabber has a two year old set that is already starting to get pin holes. When you have to replace non coated headers because they rusted out your not really saving any money. If I would have Jet Hot coated the old Mav headers 2 years ago I wouldn’t be spending money on new pipes now and having to do the work again.
