After clearing the light on dash the truck runs good. Then when truck worms up it starts running rough with no power when i give it gas. Very sluggish does not want to go. Replaced coils did not help, replaced VCT Solenoid not that Please help! Thinking it could be a o2 censer?
Thanks CampSpringsJohn for your reply
My truck is a 2005 f-250 with a 5.4 gas engine. With a automatic transmission,
4 wheel drive with 150,000 miles. The code reader said that 1 and 2 cylinders misfiring and bank one was running to lean. I bought the truck one year ago I change the coils on 1,2,3 and 4 cylinders, I thinking the plugs have never been change. what do you think start with plugs or o2 censer?
Stop throwing parts at the problem, you're only certain to drain your wallet and fix the problem if you get lucky.
Sounds like something isn't right when the PCM switches to closed loop after it warms up. It's possible that the oxygen sensor is causing a mixture problem, but impossible to determine without more testing. What are your fuel trims?
