F150 P0303 Unique
I'm Back, all of the major issues have been repaired: Past issue
Vehicle 2000 Ford F150 xlt 5.4L 4WD
Recent fixes:
New injectors all
New Cops Motocraft
New Plugs Motorcraft
New Fuel Filter
The knowns:
good spark (at idle)
Good fuel pressure
Very small leak in passenger manifold
Maf cleaned
Estimated engine load 26ish percent@idle
#1 cylinder timing 17 to 30 ish degrees while driving
I can get trims if you need them, although from what i remember they were +/-10 of each other
The problem: p0303 intermittent. The code throws over time the freeze frame is always in the 50-60 MPH range.
And Ideas?

Did you do the COP boots?
Might need a compression check to see if #3 is up to snuff.

I believe 90% of PO30x failures are the COP or the rubber boot/ grease on them. Switch the #2 and #3 COP and boot. Make sure there is no excess moisture or grease that could cause a short from the plug to head around the boot. Monitor to see if the problem has moved from #3 TO #2 position.
