Need help choosing new tires!

So, I bought this 2008 Ford F150 XL RWD 5.4L V8 truck about 1 year ago. I already invented in it a lot. I probley put close to $1000 in repairs. But now that everything is good, its time to modify my truck.

I have plans, which is place an K&N Cold Air Intake, Modified Exhaust, and bigger tires to make truck sit higher.

Now my main question is to keep it long story short. I placed a 2" leveling kit on the front of the truck so it sits level in the front like the back.

I currently have P265/70R17 on my truck right now, but I want my truck to sit higher. I know I already have over sized tires on, but It doesn't really make my truck sit bigger or nice. Any tire size recommendations? I was thinking P285/65R17, but I don't no what will look good, can't just buy each different size and see how it looks.

Any advice would be nice! I also plan on using BFGoodRich All Terrain. I have nice wheels in mind, just trying to figure out tire size that will make my truck sit taller/bigger.

Here are some pictures of my truck if you would like to see. I know, its yellowish.. I got a deal on the truck.

Looks pretty sweet, I'm still looking for a more slightly bigger lift with new tires, I been doing some research, but I'm trying to stick with BFGoodRich All Terrain tires.

Anymore tire size suggestions?

I have Yokohama Geolander AT-S tires on my 08 F150. They are 285/70/17s and I have a Superlift leveling kit and extra leaf in rear. No rub. Tires are great, have 60K on them and still are quarter tread. I had to go with load range D to get that size, but now I'm glad I did. I didn't notice any ride difference (heavier truck, crewcab) but the handling improved immensely with the stiffer sidewall. I like the tread, kinda aggressive, VERY quiet, and doesn't pick up rocks like a BFG all-terrain. Good in mud and rain and excellent in snow, has lots of siping. Also they start with deeper tread than the BFG all-terrain in that size. I've had the BFGs and like these better, I do think they are a tad more expensive though. The Yokohamas will go back on my truck again when they wear thin.

Are you staying with 17" wheels?
