Rear main
I recently blew a rear main on my 1992 f250 2wd 460 not sure trans. Do I have to pull the motor to replace it? Or can I just do it from underneath. I plan on replacing oil pan gasket as well. Also, do I need to take anything off of the front end for ease of pulling the motor?

The 460 is by far the toughest engine to replace the oil pan gasket and the rear main.
You may bust a few knuckles and say word's you never thought you would speak with the engine still in. If it were me, I'd just pull it and take the time to really get at it.
