I have been searching here and all over the web for torque specs for my gearbox. I am resealing/gasketting it and want to make sure I am tightening all the various bolts correctly.
This is a 1970 F250 4x4 if that matters, but I reckon not?

I have the Chilton manual for the truck (1965-86) and I downloaded the rebuild manual for the 435, but neither have those specs....
TQ for most all SAE bolts sizes is the same. So look up the bolt sizes and you've got it.
This is in all auto manuals.
If you don't have the yoke shaft seals for the yokes just use some RVT under the washers on the 3 yokes.
Grade 8 bolts with fine thread uses max TQ where as course thread is minim.
