New seat brackets?

Does anyone make new seat brackets for 73-79 trucks? I am planning on swapping a seat out of a 95 into my 79 but the the brackets that bolt to the floor are broken on both sides. Any other suggestions of what might work or anywhere that sells replacements?

I think a junkyard is probably your best bet. Or there's a set on eBay right now for a hundred bucks.

I saw that set, I was just afraid of buying a set off ebay and them not being in much better shape than the ones I have now. I also thought about welding them but I thought I'd ask for other suggestions here first. That very well might be what I end up doing though.

Six years production of trucks with the same brackets, should have some at most salvage yards. 100 bucks, that pretty high in my book.

D3TZ-5061704-B .. Right Seat Track / Obsolete

D3TZ-5061705-B .. Left Seat Track / Obsolete

No Ford dealer or obsolete parts vendor has either one.

X2 on take them to a local welding shop for a quick repair job, if you do not have a welder (great excuse to buy one ). And or hit the local JY for them.

I know of about 50 to 73 trucks in my local Jy that still have them....100 bucks on ebay that is friggin CrAzY prices.

Well, I pulled them off yesterday to clean them up with a die grinder so I could weld them up and welding them is just not an option. It's kind of hard to explain but they are broken off inside the outer track and also right outside the track so I'm going to have to do some more searching. There's not many junk yards around me but there are a couple up in the city. I just hate going up there for anything. What would you guys say would be a reasonable price? 40-50 for the pair?

I can hook you up with parts and or maybe a closer location for them.

Email sent to you, because you do not have PM capabilities yet.

I am on the STL side. And you? I haven't looked at that forum yet but I definitely will now. I would love to get to know some other guys that share my love for my trucks. Thanks for the heads up.

I am a bit north of Springfield, but I know the USPS mail truck will drive right by your mail box and those seat rails will fit and ship. I have done it before.

Trading Feedback - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Here we all are. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...mbers-map.html

Come on by there are a few of us and we wheel and deal parts in state and out all the time. I even ship to Norway. And I'd agree that the 73-79 is my favorite body style too.

Work up your post count to 25, then you will have PM capabilities.

That sounds pretty good. I think I successfully added myself to the map page. I will have to start a couple more posts so I can start PMing. My email is foxbody40891@yahoo.com if you want to email me and talk about the seat bracket. My name is Tom by the way...
