obd2 port questions

obd2 port questions

Which pin do I check to see if the port is getting power? The cigarette lighters work and all the fuses are good but it will not communicate with the scanner which is supposed to be can compatible.

Pin 16 is power for the data link connector.

first thing I'll check in the morning, this truck refuses to cooperate with me

Pin 16 is getting twelve volts. The pcm is fried, everything else has been ruled out
