E99 Front brake conversion

I need to change out my front brake rotors and have found finding "performance" rotors for E99 is about impossible.

What does it take to convert to the later rotors. I have been looking for a write-up but haven't found one.

I am guessing Late 99 rotors, Late 99 wheel unit bearings. What about brake calipers or caliper brackets, anything else?

I have manual hubs, no vacuum lines, and front wheel speed sensors.

You said it, late wheel bearing hubs on both sides. Then you can run late model rotors. Nothing else has to change. Hope this helps,
If you went to ford they only sell the late model wheel bearing hubs so you have to buy the late model rotors also.

thanks, wanted to make sure I wasn't into something bigger then this. I hate getting half way into a project and finding out "oh that isn't going to fit like that", order up more parts.

Just my two cents but I'll be sticking with original stuff on my front brakes. I don't think that there is enough of an advantage to switching over.

I switched to the later stuff so if I have a failure while out of town I'm not hosed. Now when buying parts it's easy to remember model year 2000.

Good advice from all. I also switched everything to late 99 due to the fact that I had to change two rotors and had a hub unit bearing (HUB) that was failing at the same time. The offset of the (HUB) is what causes the need to change rotors. If you don't go OE Ford then some of the aftermarket parts house will try to convince you that you have 14.5 in rotors. You don't unless you have a F450 or F550 or have converted your front end to one of those. Your current HUB should have coarse threads from the factory if they are original.
