Does this look like a original paint job?
Just bought this truck today , it has a 4 spd in it?
Did F-150's 2wdr come with standards?
400 engine standard trannie.
Needs a carb it has headers and dual exhaust.
I paid way to much for it , took another guys word on what it is.

Btw, that looks like an original "Compass" bed shell (topper). It would fetch a good price to the right buyer if it is in decent condition.

Even the canopy is wrecked, the put the boat rack threw it .
Its not a 79 it a 77.
Im not sure if the guy was trying to rip me off or was actually stupid and thought
it was a prize.
The engine is supposedly a 400 bored out.
It has headers and dual exhaust.
Changed over to MSD ignition.
4:11 rearend.
Lifted a bit , I Beam was straightened so it sits straight with the lift.
Its not a 79 it a 77.

TRANS code stamped on the 2nd line of the Warranty Plate.
A = New Process 435 4 Speed / B = RUG SR-OD Single Rail 4 Speed O/D (1978/83 F100/150) / F = Warner T-18 4 Speed / P = Warner T-19 4 Speed (1973/79 F350 only).

Not sure what you paid, but the body looks pretty decent in the pictures. Is there a ton of hidden rust we're not seeing?
