flathead problem

flathead problem

I have a 1950 ford v8 flathead that I am putting in a 1946 Ford pickup. I have a mustang 2 front end. With this set up I needed to change the exhaust manifolds. I got a set of sanderson headers which fit, but now I can't use the stock dip stick. I ordered a flexible dip stick tube, but it won't fit with these headers. Any ideas on what headers could be used in this situation? Any help is appreciated.... Jim

A picture or two would really help. I have bent tubes in the past, but the dipsticks were always more flexible than a flatheads
