71-76 pickup/broncos & vans will all fit.
Other styles will fit but you'd have cut the shaft tip end little **** off so the horn button will seat and work.
If you don't cut it the horn button won't go on like the 70 pickups deep dish.

No they will not.
Same 2 spoke steering wheels & vinyl horn pads: 1971/77 F100/350 - 1973/77 Bronco - 1975/77 Econoline except 1975/77 F100/350 & Econoline with Speed Control.

1966/72 Bronco's use a 3 spoke steering wheel with a horn ring. 1969/72 Econolines use a unique 2 spoke steering wheel with either a horn button or horn ring.

Originally 1971/73 F100/350 & 1973 Bronco steering wheels were available in colors.

1974: Ford replaced them with a black steering wheel: D4TZ-3600-A that's repro'd by DC, ditto the 1971/77 horn pads.

Is this just a difference in steering wheel spoke configuration? Or, is this an actual difference in the steering wheel hub-to-column spline configuration?

If the different steering wheel hubs/splines are compatible, then I would highly suspect there's a good probability the steering wheels can be swapped between (compatible) steering columns, regardless of their spoke configuration.

I know what's original and what isn't. What might interchange is someone else's problemo.

3 spoke 17" diameter steering wheel using a horn button or horn ring:

1960/63 Falcon/Comet / 1961/66 F100/250 2WD / 1966 F100 4WD / 1966/72 Bronco (horn ring only) / 1967/70 F100/350.

Once the button or ring is removed, there's a hole on the outside of the steering wheel where the horn brush and insulator fits into.

Here's a pic of the 1971/72 F100/350 horn pad setup. The brush is 13A824 and is the same as these 1961/72's. There's no insulator after 1970.

I've found that the 1970 deep 3 spoke steering wheel has a shorter threaded 3/4"x 36 splined main wheel mounting shaft then a 1971 with the 2 spoke wheel.

70 flat tip end threaded boss for low fitting horn button.
71 wheel inside is deeper with a protruding threaded end tip boss.

The flat end 70 shaft to short and won't mount a 71 wheel on it as, I tried this already. Even the lock nut is different.

And no way to mount a 70 wheel on a 71 **** tip shaft.
