71-76 pickup/broncos & vans will all fit.
Other styles will fit but you'd have cut the shaft tip end little **** off so the horn button will seat and work.
If you don't cut it the horn button won't go on like the 70 pickups deep dish.

1966/72 Bronco's use a 3 spoke steering wheel with a horn ring. 1969/72 Econolines use a unique 2 spoke steering wheel with either a horn button or horn ring.
Originally 1971/73 F100/350 & 1973 Bronco steering wheels were available in colors.
1974: Ford replaced them with a black steering wheel: D4TZ-3600-A that's repro'd by DC, ditto the 1971/77 horn pads.

Is this just a difference in steering wheel spoke configuration? Or, is this an actual difference in the steering wheel hub-to-column spline configuration?
If the different steering wheel hubs/splines are compatible, then I would highly suspect there's a good probability the steering wheels can be swapped between (compatible) steering columns, regardless of their spoke configuration.
I've found that the 1970 deep 3 spoke steering wheel has a shorter threaded 3/4"x 36 splined main wheel mounting shaft then a 1971 with the 2 spoke wheel.
70 flat tip end threaded boss for low fitting horn button.
71 wheel inside is deeper with a protruding threaded end tip boss.
The flat end 70 shaft to short and won't mount a 71 wheel on it as, I tried this already. Even the lock nut is different.
And no way to mount a 70 wheel on a 71 **** tip shaft.
