Has anyone installed the Turbo Air Guide (TAG)? It looks pretty cool, and since I need to replace my compressor wheel to get rid of the surge anyway I thought I might check one out. I don't want to put one on just for the hell of it, but if it will increase HP, lower EGT, and give me better fuel mileage I may give it a go.
Actually it is a great mod. Just shoot me an e-mail and I will answer any of your questions. i will say briefly that on my truck I picked up a small but noticable improvement in the low to mid, my fuel economy definitely improved, and my truck runs much quieter than it did before the TAG. That was the best part.
I couldn't comment on EGTs since I didn't have a pyro before I installed the TAG. But, w/ a fairly hot chip and several mods i have no exhaust temp issues at this time.
