Hello all, I hope someone didn't scrap all their old ('92-'93) Borg-Warner T-18 trannys back when the metal prices went up! It's for a '92 F-250, 2wd with the 4.9L. I need the top cover stamped "13-01-097-910", OR, the correct shifter for a top cover stamped "13-01-097-906". These numbers are cast into (raised/embossed) right beside the back-up light switch, on the top of the cover. Some how comunications got crossed and the original top cover got thrown into the scrap steel bin, several months ago! Yep, it's gone! This top cover should have the two-piece shifter(two bolts holding it together) and two locating pins under the screw-down dome.
The second top cover has a one piece shifter and only one locating pin under the screw-down dome shifter retainer.
I hope some one has some of this stuff laying around, I don't need the tranny, but we'll see what turns up. Thanks
