problem with 302 ho nee help

ok heres my problem .. i know its not a truck but i have a mustang 87 gt and we tryed to time the car and when we went and tryed it it just started to knock real loud in the motor and the motor was shaking like crazy (the shifter would shake like 2 inch each side ) . then we put the timing back where it was but it still do that ,, but it does that only if i go fast with the car when i go slow it rolls good as soon as i get the rpm past 4-5 its starts shaking again and the knocking soud come back (big knocking sounds ) anyway i dont know if anyoe can help me ,, oh yeah and when it starts shaking and doing the sound the car almost doesnt go foward like if there was no power and like if its choking !! any thanks for the help

Did you remove the spout connector before timimg the car?

yes i did unpluged, one more thing i just changed the motor in it yesterday i was tired of messing arroung with this one and got a really good one with only 70 k on it !!! but after i rolled with the car a little the same problem started again with the new motor !!so i figure it as nothing to do with the motor !!they took my distributer and put it on the new motor they took the intake and the injectors and put it on the new motor and the fly wheel clutch and tranny !! someone told me it could be the fly wheel or something related with that ?? any as toughts on that??? thanks for the replys!!
