My bet is you have a worn out shock on the front. Could be one or both. I had the same problem. When I replaced the shocks the front right was completely worn out. Shock replacement solved my problem.
Hey there coolgreen! I agree with cmore99. Your rig is due for some front end work. Just some TLC.... I would recommend a dual shock set-up with a snow plow. It seems you are experiencing "Bump Steer".
The play in your steering can be adjusted at the box. There's a nut around a set screw just for adjustment. If you feel you don't want to mess with it, don't. Have your mechanic do it.
Having the tilt adjust itself is not good either. Very dangerous while driving. HAVE it looked at by your mechanic and go by his recommendation.
