I meant impact gun.

Wasn't really that hard, just pushed up the lining with the socket. That may be a difference with the earlier MYs, IDK.

Yes, 05-07 has a different upper shock configuration, the stud on top is vertical and points up into engine bay.

We got an impact wrench to fit onto the upper nut on the driver's side of my 05, but surely NOT the passenger side. It is located under the air box.
