My truck recently shut off randomly and would not restart until in cooled down. When this happend again, During this cool down process, i tested spark at the coil and it appeared to fire at every 180 degree interval of the distributor. Truck is currently pulling a code for pip sensor. Before i jump the gun on a new dirstributor, has anyone had this similar problem?
If so, what distributor do you recommend?
A new one or just replace the stator.
You may have the same problem if you get a rebuilt or remanufactured one.
I have never seen it fail yet, when you get the PIP code the PIP sensor is always bad.

You guys know of a place to purchase the shaft seals from? The spring seal, not the o ring.
