I started a trend

So, when I got my bronco (the red and white one in the back) Then one of my friends at school got his bronco, and then two more guys followed a few months later. Two 85's, the blue one is an 88 and my 89.

Haha good! I always tell my friends to get broncos but they never listen. I've had mine since 2007 and don't ever plan on getting rid of it. Funny that it's in better shape then almost all my friends vehicles too. I do however take pretty good care of it though... have had it partially repainted and have replaced almost the entire interior since when I got it. It's worth it though! My next step is to put a 7.3 powerstroke in there.

Yes you did. And it seems you started your very own Bronco club too. Nice!

Putting a 6.9 would be pretty awesome too.

The three big reasons I haven't done it yet (which I've wanted to for years) are,

1) It's not going to be cheap. Getting a powerstorke and all the needed stuff will cost me about as much as I spent buying my Bronco. I'd need an entire donor truck for the axles and wiring etc.

2) It's going to take a long time to swap everything needed in, so my Bronco will be out of comission for quite some time. Plus, I've been in college for way too long and I can't have any distractions making it take longer! I just have one more semester left though.

3) I didn't have another vehicle to use when my Bronco was down, but I do now. I got a 91 Camaro (I know it's a chevy!) that I restored and drive it to keep the miles off my Bronco (236k) and it's tires so I can save the Bronco for more useful trips. I was driving my Bronco 50 miles a day on highways mainly, which it should be driving off roads and taking me camping and stuff, not just going to school!
