92 F250 7.5L Leak from on torque converter on E40D Transfer Case

There is a leak that is coming from a round rubber plug on the bottem of my Torque converter. I found that it would be the actual drain plug on the torque converter but when I nespected it there wasn't a drain plug. I rotated the engine looking for a drain to no avial. Does anyone know what could be leaking is it a seal or something? Not sure any help would be much appreciated.

If it's leaking engine oil then your rear main seal is shot.
If it's leaking transmission oil then your pump or converter hub seal is junk.

Some torque converters didn't get a drain plug.

Pull the transmission out, remove the torque converter, replace the seal (it's on the pump behind the torque converter), then reinstall the converter and put the transmission back in.

You're new here so I have no idea of your skill level... if you need help with those steps then let us know and we'll walk you thru it all.

If you ain't ever installed a torque converter before then you need to pay attention and make sure it seats all the way onto the stator support and input shaft. Otherwise you will break the transmission pump when you start it up.

Thank you for your help!!! The truck was my grandfathers so it has some sentimental value to it.
