It's getting bulletproofed

Well my 2005 went in for blown egr cooler and head gaskets. It's getting arp head studs, ford oem head gaskets, egr delete, sinister coolant filter kit, turbo rebuild, 8 new injectors ( didn't have to do them But I decided to bite the bullet while it's apart), new Ford oil cooler, sct x4 tuner, pyrometer guage, and a new waterpump. Hopefully I'll be good to go for a while.

So much I would want to do to my truck when it would be separated like that. I am sorry for you for the bill though.

Good luck

Keep the updates coming and beware of the Sinister Coolant filter lines as Toreador has mentioned they are designed to fail.

The hoses fail where they connect to both sides of the compression fitting. You're much better off with a Dieselsite filter setup that uses barbed fittings and worm gear clamps than the sinister filter. Mine took a year and a few months, but I remember coming out of Church and seeing my expensive coolant all over the ground in front of my truck.

Sure, they'll replace the hoses, but why would you want to replace it with something thats designed to fail again?

Thanks for the heads up I found the diesel site kit. It actually cheaper than the Sinister too.
