mis matched tire sizes

One of my fronts has a broken belt and the back has 31/10.5 and so does the front but can I throw 2 smaller tires on the front as long as I dont engage the 4x4

Some extra info for you:
Stock F-250 size is
215/85R16 for 2WD
235/85R16 for 4WD
you can fit up to a 35" tire on 2WD, 37" 4WD

That depends what you mean by FIT.

Yes a 37" will bolt on to a 4wd but don't try turning. Hell 35s require trimming
