Fellas, the terminal (+) on the passenger side battery broke, and I see is a 1 piece cable and terminal all together.
Do somebody know where to get that cable on how create a new one?
Thank you in advance!!!
You can get clamp on battery terminals. Strip the cable back and clamp it on.
I had dual batteries on a 7.3 and once replaced all the cables/terminals with a factory setup. Got a fair deal online from Tousley (White Bear Lake) but it still wasn't cheap.
I have had great luck at NAPA. Buy a new ring terminal, and ask the counter guy for a solder pellet for the size wire you are using. Put the pellet in the end of the terminal then push in the stripped wire. Heat the new ring with a torch till the solder melts. I then would use heat shrink tubing over the end. I chose a brass terminal over the lead style.
