Cool clutch issues 92 f150 5 spped

I have replaced everything to do with my clutch including the pedal assembly. I can move the truck now but only for a few seconds it seems once I shift or let the truck run a bit the clutch stops working. any suggestions?

When you say it stops working, do you mean that you push it in and are unable to shift into gear because it will not disengage the transmission from the engine? It sounds like you may have air in the line, if you pump the pedal a bunch and then try to shift it will it go into gear and or shift?

Yes......If I pump the clutch several times sometimes it will and sometimes It will not. So you think it still needs more bleeding?

Generally I would say yes, If pumping it a bunch of times brings it back to working condition then I would bleed it further. I know that sometimes clutches can be a bear to get all the air out. Often times I will pump it 40 to 50 times and then crack it open with the pedal down, ya know really get the fluid agitated to help move the air through the system. Did it work good before at some point and time or have you always had problems with it? I know that with trucks of this era, you can get the Master cylinders and slaves mixed up as there are different options across the board and end up with a real nightmare on your hands to figure out. Try to bleed it some more and let me know how it goes.
