I did a quick search and found the answer for other vehicles, just wanted to check on Transit. Has anyone rigged the back up camera in the mirror to stay on all the time? Whats the process? From what I've read on some of the trucks you just have to send a signal to the mirror. Anyone know if this is same for Transit? If so, what cable and how do you generate the correct signal?
It's not for me, it's one of my customers. I tried expressing how great I think the side mirrors are on these. In his case, the rear view mirror is only for the camera as there are no behind the cab windows so it won't distract from the mirrors use. I won't be making the modifications, just wanted to point him in the right direction.
