And FWIW, I've been using Dorman bellowed up-pipes on L99+. Ignore anything you read about poor quality - they have changed and are on par with Int'l up-pipes AND have a lifetime warranty. I've been paying ~$170 shipped for them (a-zone online) and they can be found for less.
Dang. Why such a huge price difference? I get that the dimensions are different, but basically the same thing. I can see a bit of price difference, but what gives?
The old supply and demand principal. Only used for 1/2 a year, little or no aftermarket competition so no reason to be competitive with the price. AKA highway robbery.

Yep, that's my guess.
I've collected a few sets of E99 up-pipes and keep saying I'm going to put bellows on them for people and start an exchange program or something. But.........

I don't know if I would call it highway robbery. High Volume = discounts. Low volume =high per piece cost. e99 stuff is low volume.
You don't by any chance have the bellowed up pipes on that e99 you're about to convert do you?
Sorry I didn't see this sooner. Once all done I'll have the originals out of the E99. All yours if you want them. I will be starting a build thread in the next couple of days and will keep you informed... If the rain stops, don't mind it though we need it!
