I rebuilt my 1995 ranger engine and but JBA headers. The problem is the egr tube will no fit the setup for the old. the headers have a hole for the egr tube. Is there a place where you can get a EGR tube made or modified. My gas mileage has went from 20 to 13 and horse power is ok unless I am pulling my trailer. Has anyone done something like this and had to make a home made something or another. please help with some kind of advice other than what I know already, don't do this again.lol
Have you considered using threaded 1/2" water pipe or black pipe used for household gas lines. You can get a variety of elbows and pipe lengths pre threaded and assemble something to connect the header port to the erg valve. It might not be very pretty, but wtf.
You could also try some compression fittings. I don't know what your setup looks like, but you can get all kinds of fittings - elbows, unions, adapters, etc. And you should be able to find them in stainless. Take a look at McMaster Carr. Whatever you use, make sure to use anti-seize, unless you don't think you'll be taking it apart. Personally, I like to make it easier to take things apart, especially when it comes to stuff in the exhaust.
had to get old egr tubes from junk yard and cut to fit then welded with tig then used new fittings from egr to header and now looks like it came from the factory. thanks for all the help. have a good one.
