Headers: EGR Valve Hook-Up.

One of my manifolds has a hook-up for the egr valve. If i get headers, they probably won't have this, so can i just weld the egr tube into the header? I really don't want to bypass EGR...specially since i just bought a new one

OR is there headers for an 87-96 5.0L that do have egr hook-up??

It should have the EGR hookup..make sure you get model spacific headers instead of just universal 302,351,etc headers.

Actually, i only THOUGHT that my manifold had EGR hook-up....302's don't, only 5.8's.

Same Issue???

I have kinda the same problem right now but my egr hook up tube was cracked over half way threw in the accordian section of it. I went ahead and removed the top half of it and still need to get the lower half off. Problem seems to be no parts places list this item to include NAPA as well as my own run down online of various parts inventorys/diagrams. Any ideas for this what seems like a rather common part that alot of vehicles had installed ?????
